The Trailer For Netflix’s Latest Original ‘Fundamentals of Caring’ Is Here And It’s Excellent
If you’ve never seen Richard Ayode’s Welsh coming-of-age classic, Submarine, stop what you’re doing and go and watch it now.
Because it’s a. brilliant and b. an excellent preparation for watching emerging talent Craig Robert’s in his latest brilliant role in The Fundamental’s of Caring. Another example of Netflix getting it right, the movie - this time directed by Rob Burnett - was shown at Sundance Film Festival and is set for release across the streaming service from June 24.
Starring Craig, funny man Paul Rudd, and Disney star turned pop princess turned actress Selena Gomez, it depicts the story of a retired writer (Rudd) who becomes a caregiver after suffering a great, personal tragedy.

His first client is 18-year-old Trevor (Roberts) who has muscular dystrophy. Despite the concerns of his mum, Ben takes Trevor on an epic road trip to visit all the places wheelchair-bound Trevor has become obsessed with from watching the local news, where they run into Gomez, who plays a sassy runaway.
