The Scariest Horror Movies Still To Come In 2016
It’s been a great summer for fans of horror - what with The Shallows, Don’t Breathe, Lights Out and The Conjuring 2 all hitting British screens.

The Greasy Strangler
Ronnie and his son Braden run a walking tour, that is one day attended by a beautiful woman. They begin to compete for her affection, but their efforts are hampered by the arrival of a “greasy strangler” who roams the street at night (covered in oil) strangling people.

A Los Angeles family running a seance scam accidentally invite actual evil into their home. Their youngest daughter becomes possessed, and they have to confront unimaginable horror to get her back.

Under the Shadow
Set in Iran, this sees a mother and daughter struggling to survive in the post-war 1980s, when they realise that something evil is haunting their home…
30th September
Rings
In The Ring, you watched a video tape and died seven days later, but nowadays, it’s an email attachment. Other than that, the concept of this third Ring film is similar to that of the first: a girl watches Samara’s cursed video, and then has a fairly nightmarish week…

The Walking Dead’s Chandler Riggs stars in this classic home invasion nightmare: a family are imprisoned in their own home by intruders, and forced to play a sick game. They don’t know the rules, but as the game goes on, they begin to realise what they’ll have to do…
