Justin Bieber Turned Down Biggest Paycheck Yet To Perform For Donald Trump
According to reports, the Biebs turned down a whopping $5 million offer to play at Donald Trump’s convention.
It looks like his PR team have definitely got their story straight at last, and Justin is finally winning over the people again. He’s pretty much stopped spitting on people, throwing eggs at his neighbors and being too much of a dick, and his songs are proving to be surprisingly catchy.
We’ll just ignore the part where he put a fag out on some guy, yeah?
Much to a lot of people’s delight, Bieber turned down what would have been his biggest paycheck to date because he didn’t want to be affiliated with Trump.
Not to rub salt in an open wound, but if Bieber won’t be seen with you know you’ve hit an all time low.
According to TMZ, the 22-year-old’s manager, Scooter, threatened to quit if the singer took to the republican stage, and Bieber’s band also teamed up and refused to play at the event.
So he would have been singing one of Trump’s catchy theme tunes acapella, then, if he’d gone ahead with it. I’d do it for $5 million though, in all honesty. I’d probably even wear the cute little dress.
Bieber’s manager did make some vague plans for the gig, had it gone ahead. He reportedly wanted to put a ‘Black Lives Matter’ banner across the stage. Of course!
To give credit where it’s due, Justin is clearly a better person than I am - because I would have taken the money and done it #noshame.
