New ‘Central Perk’ Replica Opened And It’s Almost As Good As The Real Thing

Friends fans, unite! And by ‘friends fans’ we mean everyone ever, because who doesn’t love Friends… right?

There’s now a Central Perk cafe in Liverpool, and they even have an open mic night appropriately called ‘Finding Pheobe’. Though, they will never find another Pheobe.

The replica is complete with over-sized coffee cups, the orange sofa, redbrick walls, Tiffany-style lamps, open mic nights, Central Perk stickers on the windows and it’s very own Gunther… this Liverpudlian gem is really quite something.

It’s the first full-scale replica of Central Perk in the UK (apart from a pop up one that came to London for two weeks in 2009). It may be the first but we can’t imagine it’ll be the last.

And if Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler and Ross were hanging out in Central Perk on Bold Street in Liverpool, you’d be forgiven for thinking you were in an actual episode of Friends – it really is that lifelike.
