Man ‘Disemboweled Girlfriend After She Screamed Ex’s Name During Sex’
A man from Florida has been charged with murdering his girlfriend after admitting he disemboweling her when she cried out her ex-husband’s name during sex… twice.
Police said that they discovered Fidel Lopez, 24, crying next to Maria Nemeth’s dead body. He had earlier called 911 to report that she was having trouble breathing.
Officers say that he flipped into a drunken rage after she yelled out the other man’s name during sex. Lopez admitted to shattering a sliding glass door, punching holes into a wall and ripping a closet from its hinges.
He then returned to 31-year-old Nemeth, who was already unconscious on the floor, and mutilated her with a variety of objects before disemboweling her.
By the time the police arrived there was blood and body tissue throughout the apartment, which the couple had been sharing for around a week.
At first Lopez claimed that the pair had been having rough sex fuelled by alcohol when Nemeth asked him to insert a bottle inside her, she then went to the bathroom, vomited and collapsed. His story changed after further questioning and he admitted to being a “monster”.
Lopez has been charged with first-degree murder.
