What To Watch On TV This Autumn
Autumn - as the evenings draw in and the days get shorter - is the perfect time to watch the TV, and luckily, the broadcasters know it.
There are a whole lot of great shows kicking off - for the first time, or for a new season - in the next few months, and we’re planning to make the most of it…
Check out the shows that we’re looking forward to here:
The Walking Dead
Who did Negan kill? It’s not long now until we’ll find out. The cliffhanger that The Walking Dead left us on will be resolved in the premiere episode of season seven, and by the sounds of it, things will only get darker and more difficult from there. This season will reportedly take power away from Rick, giving it to the ultra-nefarious Negan, and that isn’t going to be fun to watch… But we’ll definitely be watching..

American Horror Story
While we still don’t know the theme of the upcoming American Horror Story, we’ve seen countless teaser trailers - each creepier than the last, and we’re feeling excited. The fact that the creators have remained so tight-lipped about the whole thing probably means that there’s some big surprises in store, and we’re confident that this season will be something special. Definitely one to watch.

The Night Of
The story of a Pakistani-American college student who gets mixed up with murder - waking up to find that the woman he was partying with the night before has been stabbed to death, and realising that he has no recollection of what happened - The Night Of broadcast to rave reviews over in the States. An enthralling crime drama, this is a dark and difficult watch but is already being described as TV “to obsess over”. Fans of Luther and the like won’t want to miss it…
Episode one screened on Sky Atlantic last week, but there’s still time to catch up before the plot thickens.

Black Mirror
Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror has been bought by Netflix, and 12 new episodes are due to hit the streaming service this October. And we couldn’t be more excited about it. This round of episodes has attracted some big names (both in terms of directors and actors), and with Brooker’s writing, things can only go well.

Westworld
Produced by JJ. Abrams, HBO’s latest big-budget drama is being marketed as what to watch when you’re not watching Game of Thrones, and - although we’ve only seen the trailers - we’re feeling quietly confident that it’s going to be good. The story of a futuristic Old West theme park, populated by Artificial Intelligences on hand to do whatever the clients want them to do, Westworld stars Anthony Hopkins, Thandie Newton, Evan Rachel Wood and James Marsden.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life
Gilmore Girls fans were thrilled when - earlier this year- Netflix not only added every episode in existence to their service, but also announced four new 90 minute episodes. Catching up with Rory and Lorelai ten years after we last saw them, each of the four episodes will deal with one of the four seasons of the year. The majority of the cast are set to return.

We’re also very much looking forward to Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events - promised to hit the streaming service at some point before the end of 2016.
Have we missed anything? Let us know what you’ll be watching this Autumn in the comments!
