This Prank Call Escalated Quickly, Presenters Discover The ‘Greatest Guy In The World’

With my line of work you find yourself watching a lot of videos. It’s tough, I must confess, but every now and again a video comes along that makes it all worth it. This is one of those times.

Australian radio presenters Hamish and Andy are well known for their devilish ideas. This time Hamish picked a random number and called up pretending to be a guy called Tim.

Tim was in the running for a job at an accounting firm and had put the random number down as his character reference. Tim asked the random guy (James) if he could cover for him, even though they have never met. James said yes, and ten minutes later Andy calls up pretending to be chasing up on the reference.

James handled it like a pro, proving himself to be ‘thegreatest guy in the world.’ Take a look.

As if that wasn’t enough, Hamish and Andy invited James in to meet them. Conscious that everyone had been calling him Australia’s greatest guy, they had one final test for him.
