This New Australian Fiver Is Basically The Mother Of All Banknotes

A few months ago the new British five pound notes were announced, and they despite being waterpoof - they’re not really anything that exciting. The people down under have definitely out done us.

Australia’s new five dollar notes look like something out of a sci-fi movie, and it has every feature one could possibly want from a bank note. Well, except for the ability to magically reproduce, of course.

There’s a tactile section for the blind or partially sighted, a big transparent patch and a whole bunch of cool holographic thingymabobs.

Have you ever seen anything quite so wonderful? But, it still doesn’t magically replicate - I checked.
