Sophie Turner Shows Off New ‘Game Of Thrones’ Tattoo On Emmys Red Carpet
Last week, Game of Thrones’ on-screen sisters Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams revealed that they had got matching tattoos.
While they didn’t immediately show what these tattoos were, people immediately began speculating that it might be a date.
On the Emmys red carpet last night, Sophie Turner revealed that this was correct: both her and Maisie have 07.08.09 tattooed onto their arms. It’s the day that they both found out they had got their parts on Game of Thrones.

Explaining what had prompted her and Maisie to bite the bullet and get themselves inked, Sophie referenced the fact that their show loves to murder its main characters:
“We don’t know if we’re going to make it, so Maisie and I were like let’s get these ones before anyone kills us.”
She also took a moment to discuss the script for Game of Thrones season seven, saying that it left her “speechless”, and she thinks that fans will be very satisfied…
