“Are You Sexually Active?” Nurses Reveal The Best Answers They’ve Heard

I’ve only been asked by a doctor once if I was sexually active some years back. I said “does that mean ‘have I ever had sex’ or am I ‘currently having regular sex’?” He said it was the former and I answered no. Probably didn’t need to ask him that question, in the first place, to be honest.

He just looked mildly perplexed and breezed over it. Not a great story. Thanks to this reddit question, however, we now know the best responses nurses and doctors have got to the infamous “are you sexually active” question…
