Man Gets His Testicle Stuck In An Ikea Stool, Writes Hilarious Facebook Complaint
Is there anything worse than getting your ball stuck in a small hole in a plastic stool?
I’m pretty sure this guy would tell you that no, there’s nothing worse than that. Claus Jørstad, from Norway, has a bad knee and decided to try out a sitting method of washing in the shower.
He picked the Marius stool from Ikea, presumably because he thought the multiple holes would be ideal for water drainage and… ventilation? Or, he might have just thought it looked cool, who knows.
Image: FacebookBut, what poor Claus didn’t take into account, was the effect temperature can have on the body. Specifically, the meatballs.
In a post directed at Ikea Norway, he explained his unfortunate incident:
“As you can imagine, the skipper is the captain down there, and the sailors are the two nuts that dangle. But then, you are Swedish, and I know that you don’t like direct descriptions of genitals, so I will call them the skipper and his sailors,” he says.
He really commits to his metaphor, but to sum it up - one of his ‘sailors’ slipped ‘unnoticed’ into one of the unfortunately placed holes on his bright red stool - so when he stool up, his down below area was suddenly carrying quite a bit of extra weight.
He decided, rightfully, that removing it by force was not going to work - so instead opted to freeze his problems and pour cold water on his sailors instead. After a bit of waiting and freezing, he was freed. But he finished his Facebook post with the tagline ‘so, does it come in yellow?’
Despite being, in my opinion, basically a horror film plot - his anecdote has been liked over 21,000 times and shared by over 11,000 people. Well, at least 21,000 people will think twice before putting that stool in their shower.
Ikea kept with the nautical theme in their response, saying:
“Hey Claus. We recommend that you take the stool out of the shower (…) or that you sit on it with the right uniform on and in the right setting. If you choose to keep it in the shower, make sure you are well dressed for your next sea excursion.”
