Guy Gets Caught Lying On His CV, Twitter Comes To The Rescue
Javier Acosta’s friend got himself into a bit of a sticky situation, and this is 2016 after all, so of course Javier took to Twitter to tell the world about it.
He posted a tweet, explaining that his friend had told a bit of a porky pie on his CV and was about to get caught.
My friend lied on his cv that he mastered the piano at age 15 and now he's been asked if he can play for the board of directors on friday.

His poor friend was getting desperate:
Man has been sitting in the car for the past half hour googling "the most painless way to break your fingers".
— Javier Acosta (@Shimz_Afc) August 31, 2016
And that’s when the good people of Twitter came together to help.
This guy got scientific:
@Shimz_Afc @JoziGoddess Faking a disease that affected a nerve that transmits rhythmic messages to the central nervous system might work
— Bulelani Silangwe (@Silangwe) August 31, 2016
This guy had a simple solution:
@Shimz_Afc tell him to google hand cast for sale
— JD (@HighburyJD) August 31, 2016
This one was a little traumatic:
@Shimz_Afc @abrianmc Say that a traumatic experience relating to public performance has left him unable to play in public.

And this guy suggested he actually learn a Beethoven piece:
@Shimz_Afc moonlight sonata by beethoven is considered a masterpiece and is extremely simple and somewhat repetitive. It's learnable

This guy’s suggestion was simple, yet effective.
@Shimz_Afc @martinibubble simple..
Would love too shame that playing so much so young brought on acute carpel tunnel syndrome when I try..— rhidian thomas (@rhidian_t) September 1, 2016
And it ended up being the one that got the poor man out of a very awkward piano recital…
Thanks to whoever first tweeted the carpal tunnel syndrome excuse. Mate used it and he doesn't have to play anymore tomorrow.

Another win for #teaminternet.
But what’s the lesson to learn here? Don’t lie on your CV. At least not about something as stupid as piano playing!
