This Woman Figured Out Just How Much Will Smith’s Cab To Bel Air Would Have Cost
Sometimes life can be confusing.
Take algebra, for example. What the fuck is that all about? But rest assured whilst I’m sat here remembering how much I hate algebra and how much I don’t get its purpose, someone, a higher species of human, is figuring it all out and making sure the other higher species of humans know what to do with it.
That is exactly what happens with all other confusing things in life, and which probably explains why Periwinkle Jones decided to do the rest of us a favour and calculate what Will Smith’s cab fare would actually have been when he whistled for that infamous cab with the dice in the mirror.
The answer; incredibly expensive. In case you’re not familiar with American geography, West Philadelphia (on the West Coast) and Bel Air (on the East Coast) are on completely opposite sides of the country. Meaning a cab would probably cost you more than hiring a private jet:

He is the Fresh Prince, I guess.
Either way since Periwinkle did get calculations back in 2014 it’s now even more expensive… inflation, oil wars, you know the drill:
Taxi Fare FinderIf he were a teen today I’m guessing Will would probably have just jumped in an Uber Pool and snapchatted the whole thing. Sigh.
