Got a hole in your heart where the cast of Game Of Thrones used to be? Yeah, we do too. But it looks like us GOT fans will be getting something to tide us over until the next series.
HBO and Live Nation have announced their ‘Game Of Thrones Live Experience’, that will allow fans to experience Westeros in a whole new way.
Using a full orchestra and choir along with state-of-the-art technology, Game of Thrones composer Ramin Djawadi will take fans on a musical journey through the Seven Kingdoms.
In case the musical side of GOT remains a mystery to you, Ramin was responsible for that haunting song used for Cersei’s antics in the season 6 finale that everyone absolutely adored:
He explains:
“For the past six seasons of Game of Thrones, I have been tremendously inspired to compose music to David Benioff’s and D.B. Weiss’ extraordinary adaption of George R.R. Martin’s epic ‘A Song of Fire and Ice’ series.
Now, by combining the music with state-of-the-art technology, we are going to bring the astonishing world of Westeros to fans in a live and unique concert experience.”
During the musical performance, fans will be footage of Westeros and Essos from existing series and entirely new scenes created just for the tour.
The show will begin its 28-city tour on February 15th, 2017 in Kansas City, and will continue across America and Canada. Thrones Fever will be taking over some big music venues including Madison Square Garden in New York City, the Forum in Los Angeles as well as arenas in Montreal, Boston, Houston, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Washington DC and more.
It has yet to be announced if the show will venture out of North America and grace the rest of the world with it’s beauty.
Tickets go on sale on Saturday, 13th of August.
