Friends Fans Get Engaged In Monica And Chandler’s Apartment At Friends Fest

Monica asking Chandler to marry her will remain the most romantic proposal of all time, but this one might just come a close second…

Krunal Desai asked his mega-Friends-fan girlfriend Radha Patel to marry him at Friends Fest, in Monica and Chandler’s apartment.

Can you imagine anything better?!

Krunal had contacted Comedy Central - who are running the festival - and told them his idea. They thought it was a great plan, and were more than happy to help him pull off the perfect proposal. Straight away, they invited him down to scope out the mock-up sets, then, on the day itself, they asked Krunal and Radha if they’d mind posing for a few photos for the Comedy Central website (to explain the presence of the cameras), to which Radha happily agreed.

Comedy Central cleared out the rest of the patrons (explaining to them once they got outside what was going to happen), and sat Krunal and Radha down on Monica’s sofa. That was when Krunal got down on one knee…

Obviously, Radha said yes.

Speaking to the Metro after the proposal, Krunal explained that he knew Friends Fest was the ideal place to propose to his girlfriend:

“We both absolutely love Friends, and Radha can’t go to sleep without watching the show. We even had a short break in our relationship, leading people to call us the real life Ross and Rachel.”

He’s her lobster…
