Details About Official Last Ever ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Episode Announced

Even if you absolutely adore ‘Pretty Little Liars’ and all that it stands for (like me), I can guarantee that all of us have at some point thought ‘is this show ever going to actually end?’

Whether you started watching in 2010 when it first came out, or you joined in part way through and put in the time to catch up on the hundreds of episodes you missed (it took me about three months) - there have been times when we kind of just wanted it to end.

‘How long can they stretch out one person’s death?’ I asked back in series one, but boy did I underestimate what was to come.

Well, the show’s creator Marlene King held a Facebook live with all five of the main cast members - to announce that it’s all coming to an end. Filming for the cast will finish in two weeks, seven years after they started. The final ten episodes will be released in April 2017, and the finale will be a two-hour long special - that the cast and crew promise will answer every question we could possibly have.

Which is good, because boy do I have a lot of questions.

They also hint at the summer finale which will be out today/tomorrow (30/31st of August) depending on where in the world you are, and say that there’s going to be a dramatic death. We’re going to go ahead and assume it’s not one of the pretty little liars… right?!

My money is on Mona getting shot, because it’s a girl’s shoe crawling around on the floor and I refuse to believe any of my main girls take a bullet. My little heart couldn’t take that.

My other predictions? Show creators have revealed that Wren, the sexy doctor man with a British accent, is returning for the second part of season 7. Maybe, because he’s been the ultimate baddie all along?

Work with me here, he could be linked to Archer because… you know, doctors? And the final villain can’t be Noel Khan because that is far too obvious, so it needs to be someone else that will make everyone gasp out loud. So, either one of the boyfriends (Toby has always had slightly creepy eyes), or someone new.

Or, maybe Wren is the other DiLaurentis mystery child. And he was adopted by someone British?

Second theory, Spencer is the second child of Mary Drake.

Exhibit A: That weird dream/hallucination she had about a creepy child dancing in the bathtubs at Radley, and the fact she’s always felt drawn there. Possibly because she was born there?

Exhibit B: The pair look seriously alike, and when Mary Drake pops in to see Spencer she reveals she knows her parents from way back. She also tells Spencer they have met before, but doesn’t specify when. Maybe because she pushed her out of her vajayjay?

Exhibit C: In S7xE8, Spencer leafs through a family photo and has some kind of epiphany - in the same episode it is revealed that Mary Drake had a second child. Coincidence? I think not.

Exhibit D: Jessica always hated Spencer, more than any of the other girls. She even seemed to like Melissa, so it wasn’t even a general dislike of Hastings girls. Maybe she hates her because she knows who her mother is.

I could carry on for days but those are my main reasons.

And if you’re questioning my ridiculous and random guessing skills, I actually totally guessed the CeCe/Charles plot twist when I was making a joke about the ridiculous things it could be. Nailed it.
