Britney Spears Wants Nothing To Do With The Film Being Made About Her Life
It has been announced that the world will be treated to a film about the life and career of pop star Britney Spears.
American TV network Lifetime will be creating the film biopic of the singer, who will be played by ‘Hail, Caeser!’ actress Natasha Bassett.
Britney is due to release her ninth album, ‘Glory’, in the coming days so the announcement of a film about the ‘tumultuous true story’ behind her rise to fame seems apt.

The two hour long film will cover her early career, growing up in the public eye and then onto her iconic relationship and breakup with Justin Timberlake - and her personal struggles following her parents’ divorce.
Her marriages to Jason Alexander, Kevin Federline are also going to make an appearance, as well as the downward spiral that allegedly cause her to lose custody of her sons. But, it’s due to finish on a high note - showing how she rebuilt her career and proved herself to be a pop legend.
The film, simply called ‘Britney‘, will be produced by Asylum Entertainment, written by Anne-Marie Hess and directed by Leslie Libman.

The film is due to start production in September and will be released late 2017.
