The Second Trailer For ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children’ Has Been Released

Remember when Tim Burton used to do genuinely good films like Beetlejuice, Batman and Edward Scissorhands? Over recent years, he seems to have lost it with his Alice in Wonderland films being… bad.

But we can rejoice in the fact that he seems to have worked his way back into the hearts of many, so long as Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is as good as the trailer suggests.

If you’re not familar with the story, Jacob Portman (Asa Butterfield) is a 16-year-old boy whose grandfather is murdered. After following some photogrpahic clues left by said grandfather, Jacob winds up in an orphanage for a bunch of kids with peculiar abilities . He stays there and soon finds out that there’s a load of evil sorts after the kids for their powers…

It’s basically X-Men mixed with Harry Potter…

Looks good, doesn’t it? The song was pretty awful but, you know… can’t win ’em all, can you?

Samuel L Jackson looks… interesting as a bad guy.
