Sainsbury’s Want Us To Celebrate Father’s Day By Ruining Bacon
Father’s Day is tomorrow, and Sainsbury’s have a suggestion for how we should all be celebrating it.
Introducing another one of their “little twists” (they’ve previously suggested adding coffee to spaghetti bolognese and curry powder to fish pie), the supermarket have recommended that we add peanut butter to our dads’ bacon sandwiches.
Peanut butter. With bacon.

To be completely honest, people haven’t exactly taken well to the suggestion:
@sainsburys isn’t that what killed Elvis?

@sainsburys only if my son wants my boot up his arse, peanut butter in a bacon sarnie, heretics.

@sainsburys I would disown my child if they did this.

@leeco197 @sainsburys if my Kids did that to my Bacon Sarnie I’d put them up for adoption…. #OnlyeverBrownSauce #Manwich

@cpjskippy @sainsburys vile. LEAVE. BACON. ALONE.

There's a fathersday Sainsbury's advert on at the moment that suggests dads want peanut butter on their Bacon sandwich. FFS.

Who knows though. Maybe we shouldn’t knock it until we’ve tried it?
