This “Comedian’s” Fat Shaming Video Has Caused A Lot Of Outrage
Living proof that anyone can be a ‘YouTuber’ is Nicole Arbour, and she’s back…
Basically she’s a comedian who’s partial to posting the odd YouTube video, usually moaning about something, and this time you can guess what the subject is given the title “Dear Fat People”.
As you might have expected, people are very cross with her, saying she’s anti-comedy. She’s certainly not our idea of a funny person but, you know… she doesn’t seem to care.
Brandishing some kind of weird indoor shouty voice and a startling amount of over-editing, she claims that fat-acceptance is “assisted suicide”…
Hilarious stuff, right?! Right, guys?! RIGHT!!!???!?!
Maybe you need to watch it again…
Anyway, Arbour has gone on to defend herself in a series of self-righteous tweets:

We hope she doesn’t mean that the person lost all that weight in the 5 days the video’s been out… because that would be impossible.
There’s a moral here somewhere… if you’re going to make a funny video being unjustly offensive, make sure it’s actually funny? No.
