Nickelodeon Reveal What Zoey Said, 10 Years After ‘Time Capsule’

September 18th 2005. That’s when the 2nd episode of the 2nd season of Zoey 101, aired. To those of you who have forgotten, the episode was titled “Time Capsule”, and each student of PCA is given an assignment to bring items that best represents them, and they sealed it in a time capsule ( Zoey’s idea).

Our pretty little Zoey recorded a video about her life at PCA, her friends and so on. And of course, one dude we know is anxious about what Zoey said about him. Chase, we’re talking about Chase. He even dug up the time capsule at 3 in the morning to try and find out what she said.

In the episode, she admitted to him that she wouldn’t make him wait the whole 20 years… just 10. Many of us had forgotten this little detail, but Zoey 101 creator Dan Schneider had not. He sent out some vague tweets, getting people excited for a surprise before revealing this clip, which was later shown on Nickelodeon - or whatever they call it these days.

Oh my god. It happened.

To be continued?! IS ZOEY 101 COMING BACK?!

So, in case you need a brief refresher we’ll just simplify it down for you. After all, it has been ten years since we all obsessed over Zoey 101. The mini-episode begins with a 10-years-older Chase on a date with some girl who isn’t Zoey. He’s about to propose when Michael arrives, to tell Chase what Zoey had to say all those years ago.

This was what she said:

And now, I’m gonna tell you about one of the most special people I’ve ever met. His name is Chase Matthews. And he’s one of the funniest, coolest, nicest guys in the world.

Sometimes, I kinda think he has a little crush on me, but other times, I kinda think he just wants to be friends. All I know for sure is, Chase is really special to me, and who knows, maybe he’s even my soulmate.

Chase then goes running off to find Zoey and basically we’re pretty sure this means there will be a Chase/Zoey reunion and we CAN’T WAIT.
