Woody Meets Dory In Tom Hanks And Ellen Degeneres’ “Pixar-Off”

As the voices of two of Pixar’s most popular characters - Woody and Dory - Tom Hanks and Ellen Degeneres naturally had a lot to discuss.

Namely, how parents would recognise them, and then excitedly tell their kids, “it’s Woody!” or, “it’s Dory!“, only to have the kid look completely confused that they were looking at a middle-aged adult, and not a cowboy doll or a forgetful fish…

Hanks explained that, to combat this, he would always ask the kid to close their eyes, and then talk to them as Woody. And that it worked every time…

That’s just made us really excited for Toy Story 4…
