JK Rowling Says We’ve Been Pronouncing Voldemort’s Name Wrong, And Now We Feel Weird

Harrrrrrrry Potter - the magical world that lets us indulge in a lil bit of fantasy and has been keeping all our mundane lives stable since around 1997.

Well JK Rowling - author, creator and all-round deliverer of joy on Twitter - has just announced something that has rocked our childhood imaginations for ever.

The T is silent, so it’s not Voldemort. It’s more like Volde… morrrre.

It may not seem like a bit deal, but the thought of He Who Must Not Be Named suddenly being named something slightly more… French, is a bit of a game changer.
